Dr. Kim Van Dusen

Dr. Kim Van Dusen is a mom of two and the CEO/Owner/Founder of The Parentologist. She has a Master’s in TV Broadcasting and Marital and Family Therapy as well as her Doctorate in Psychology. She is a Licensed Therapist, Registered Play Therapist, Professor, Public Conference Speaker, Blogger, and Podcast Host of The Parentologist Podcast. She is a writing contributor for many publications including Parents Magazine, Yahoo!, TODAY Parents, and a 3-page feature article in L.A. Parent Magazine. She has had appearances on national television for Dr. Phil’s Merit Street Media and can also be seen on FOX 5, CBS 8, ABC 10, and heard on KFI 640AM. Dr. Kim is currently writing her first non-fiction parenting book that will be published in May 2026.
